The workingmethod for "R k n-str k sh n" is inspired by the Dogma 95 manifesto, the vow of chastity, where the dogma collective of filmmakers agreed to a set of ten strict rules, or dogmas. The prominent look of the interior is not based upon a drawing/plan but rather a process, formed by the restrictions of the measurements and possibilities of the existing materials. The store’s interior has been developed by using materials from the store"s existing interior elements. We reassembled parts of existing ceiling, walls and closets into new displays, benches and so on.
(r k n-str k sh n is the phonetic reproduction of the word reconstruction)
